History
The first written evidence of Suchá Hora is from 1566. Number of inhabitants: 1255 Elevation:785 m a.s.l. Sucha Hora is located close to the border crossing with Poland on the northern hills of the Skorušina mountain.There is a border crossing called Suchá Hora - Chocholow.There are national natural reservations called Sosnina and Rudné in the northern part of this locality. Folk traditions as well as the Goral dialect have been preserved together with folk dancing ensemble called Goral.
Sights
Saint J.Nepomucky´s column, that comes from 19-th century, is situated in front of the church. St.Florian´s column is situated in front of the church. Rustic farmer's house with stables from 1859, No.170.
