Skorušina Mountains

Skorušina Mountains are located in the northern section of the West Tatras. They offer silence as well as wonderful views. Mushroom, blackberry or raspberry picking is also very popular. There is an outdoor thermal pool open to visitors all year round. 

Skorušina mountain range consist of the parts called Kopec /1251 m/, Skorušina /1314 m/, Oravická Magura /1232 m/.

Skorušina is the highest peak of the Skorušina range. The peak is possible to reach from three directions by marked trails. The grassy crown of the the mountains offer a view of the main at the main ridge of Roháče in the south, at Veľký Choč /1611 m / in the southwest, at Veľký Rozsutec in the west, at Orava Resevoir, Oravské Beskydy and Babia hora /1725 m/ in the north.

Ski - centre Teplica is located at the base of the Skorušina mountains. Tourist trails are well maintained.

Skorušina Mountain is a perspective region for tourism because of good conditions for summer and winter hiking.
